Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Deliver consistently professional, engaging, and welcoming service.Uphold Fairmont standards for cleanliness and presentation across residences, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.Respond promptly and effectively to housekeeping requests from owners, guests, and colleagues.Lead and inspire the housekeeping team through hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and ongoing development.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the department and across all property teams.Manage purchasing and inventory of housekeeping supplies to ensure efficiency and cost control.Monitor and control labor costs to align with budgetary goals.Develop and manage the annual housekeeping budget.Coordinate preventive maintenance programs in partnership with the Director of Engineering.Collaborate on capital projects and off-season initiatives to achieve objectives within budget and timeline.Oversee lost and found operations in accordance with company policy.Manage property shipping and receiving functions.Ensure compliance with all safety standards and training requirements.Champion Fairmont values and create an environment that supports colleague engagement and well-being.Balance operational priorities with administrative responsibilities and team needs.Adhere to all departmental and safety policies.Perform other duties as assigned.
