Director of Training for Behavioral Health

The main focus of this position is to organize, enhance, maintain, and oversee the behavioral health training program in an integrated primary care setting. In addition, there will be some administrative and clinical management of behavioral health service staff such as training and the delivery of clinical services and supervision of doctoral and master level trainees.

  • Starting Annual Salary - $67,000 - $89,700

Specific Duties:

  • Provides administrative and clinical management of direct behavioral health service staff, including supervision of trainees
  • Assists in the evaluation of the scope of behavioral health services offered at Salud for maximization of patient impact and best practice
  • Creates or enhances new services to address the needs of the population
  • Supports and coordinates training activities of the behavioral health training program
  • Engages in service line development and oversight
  • Works in conjunction with Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, Enrollment Specialists, Customer Service Associates, and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated health care
  • Acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable populations by ensuring that patients are fully informed and comfortable with their visit to Salud
  • Adheres to all standards, protocols, and laws surrounding patient confidentiality
  • Follows procedures for the electronic health records system

Qualifications

Education:

  • Doctor in Psychology (PhD, PsyD)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years program management and leadership experience
  • Program development experience will be highly considered
  • Minimum 3 years clinical service experience
  • Experience providing supervision
  • Experience and success with program development
  • Experience working in an integrated primary care setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with mental health treatment modalities
