You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.

Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
  • Experience with aerospace electrical (power, RF, communications/data, etc) design, fabrication, and repair methods for military and/or commercial aircraft
  • Experience performing and documenting Electrical Load Analyses (ELAs)
  • Experience with design of 28VDC and three-phase 115VAC 400Hz power distribution/conversion/controls
  • Familiar with standard interface protocols (Ethernet, RS232, RS422, RS485, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:
  • Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
  • Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI), specifically MIL-STD-461 and/or AC 20-190
  • Experience with FAA and/or Military Certification processes and requirements
  • Experience with MATLAB, PLM, ECAD (AutoCad, Zuken E3, Catia)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $101,774.67 - $139,940.19
