Job Description

Seeking an Electrical Engineer who hasa fundamental knowledge of digital circuitdesign utilizing microprocessors, ASICs, FPGAs, and various memory technologies. Responsible for taking a design from initial specification all the way through to delivery involving hardware board level design, schematic capture and layout, simulation, analysis, and test; lead design checkout and validation in a lab environment; work through full system integrationandenvironmental testing;perform detailed review of other engineer's designs; developing new architectures and refining existing architectures; and developing requirements and technical interfaces with customers.

  • Module design experience including thorough design documentation, completion and review of schematic, participation in SI analysis, creating and reviewing routing instructions, coordination with layout, review of layout, documented test plan and completed debug.
  • Ability to solve lab debug problems with use of lab tools such as bench supplies, scopes and logic analyzers.
  • Experience completing multiple module designs including at least one of moderate complexity is desired.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of circuit design and signal integrity is expected.
  • Proficient with schematic capture and layout tools, DxDesigner,Expedition and Hyperlynx a plus.
  • Has led module debug and integration of module into system.
  • Familiar with environmental test methods and flow.
  • Understands and has performed worst case analysis.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Must have at least 4-7 years of design experience.

Additional Information

Compensation: Base payrange is $80,000-120,000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan.
