Description: Our Facility in Deer Creek, CO has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Planner / Scheduler within the growing Engineering Planning organization. This position will support the CPS Program in a lead role.In this position, you will work with Engineers, CAMs, Project Engineers and other Planning disciplines at the front end of where it all begins: the design phase.Primary duties will include:- Architecting detailed engineering release schedules, tracking and taking status of engineering products, as well as reporting metrics and performance to stakeholders and customers.- Drive accountability in the engineering organization and the engineering planning team to meet schedule deadlines for engineering releases.Candidate must be well-seasoned with using Microsoft Project (or equivalent scheduling tool).This position has flexibility for telecommuting based on Customer/Program discretion.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a Masters degree.Demonstrated capability to create complex, detailed schedules using Microsoft Project (or equivalent scheduling software like Primavera / Open Plan).Current or previous experience managing and scheduling products such as Avionics, Structures, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Power Systems etc. for missile or spacecraft assemblies.Experience with metric creation and analysis for senior management.Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior and executive leadership.Desired Skills:Working knowledge of supplemental scheduling as it relates to Earned Value Management and DCMA compliance.Demonstrated experience as a team lead.Current experience as a Program or Manufacturing Planner is a plus.Positive can-do attitude with a desire to lead others and the ability tackle complex challenges.Effective relationship builder with team and customers with the ability to work effectively and diplomatically.Must be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.Clearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $91,300 - $175,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
