Job Overview:

The ERP Application Analyst develops and helps to maintain the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for Aspen Valley Hospital. Develops an understanding of the application functionality, reporting capabilities, interfacing and integration associated with the applications assigned.

Primary Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Implements approved applications, tools, and processes that assist AVH with the management of data in financial, human resources, payroll, supply chain, and logistics. Functions using the ERP system include, but are not limited to, accounting, recruiting, employee records, employee performance, leave management, payroll, ordering, inventory management and delivery.
  • Maintains changes to referential data, across business applications assigned.
  • Assists with application maintenance including application life cycle, reporting analysis, coding and support activities.
  • Provides technical support, diagnosis of application errors and troubleshooting with system issues.
  • Interprets, modifies, analyzes, and designs business systems, data and information.
  • Designs and distributes timely education, supporting end-user training and enhanced utilization of technology.
  • Facilitates meetings and collaboration with healthcare professionals to evaluate current technology functionality and develops future applications by building consensus and using efficient decision-making processes.
  • Recommends innovative ideas, processes, and/or procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems.
  • Researches patient data across multiple applications to resolve discrepancies and/or improve workflow.
  • Serves as a resource person for daily operational issues with technology systems.
  • Works with other members of the team and AVH to implement solutions to system-related problems to minimize operational impact.
  • Manages and leads the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of regulatory requirements within systems.
  • Prioritizes work responsibilities and meets established deadlines with little to no assistance.
  • Disseminates pertinent and ongoing information to users using systematic tools and methods. Ensures all documentation is up to date.
  • Required to understand and adhere to AVH IT standards, policies, and procedures. Must maintain a strong understand of IT security best practices.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tolerance to working in a fast-paced work environment. This position requires quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and organize is required. Must exercise mature judgement, tact and discretion. Maintains cost effectiveness. Performs duties in an accurate and precise manner during normal operations and in emergency situations when time is critical.
  • Effective negotiator and consensus builder - able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong knowledge of all hospital department operations, especially those with business functions.
  • Knowledge of general principles of information systems, project management, computer usage, system lifecycle states, and ITIL.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and solve problems related to technology and assist staff in doing the same.
  • Ability to prioritize work responsibilities, meet established deadlines, and assist staff with the same.
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of confidential information.
  • Must be very organized with ability to follow up/follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to work with an open mind as a team member with other departments to come up with the best possible solutions for AVH to system-wide problems.
  • Will have to travel to other facilities or campuses.

  • 5 years of experience in business operations (finance, human resources, or supply chain) required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Project management experience required.
  • ITIL training required or ability to complete within 3 months.
  • High school degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Hire-in rates of pay are based upon the relevance of years of experience, education and certifications. Our talent acquisition team will help you understand how your direct experience will be considered.

Pay range for new hires: $38.63 - $50.27 /hr
