This role involves comprehensive event security planning, coordination, and management to ensure the safety and security of events across North America and Latin America.This position is based on site in Boulder, CO. Relocation assistance may be offered to qualified candidates. The salary for this role is $125,000 per year.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:PRE-EVENT PLANNING:

Collaborate with the Events Program Office, Events Security Desk, Regional Event Security Operations (ESO), Regional Security Operations (SecOps), and other event business partners.

Ensure readiness of the Incident Command Post (ICP) as the central coordination hub for all event security related incidents.

Assist Event Security Leads with designing relevant tabletop exercises and simulations that present current security landscapes and realistic scenarios.

Coordinate ICP planning requirements and lead rehearsals with cross-functional event teams.

Provide technical support and training on incident management tools such as CCTV and communications technology to client personnel and other designated stakeholders.

Develop client-approved data collection, presentation, and reporting tools to inform event security operations.

Prepare detailed work plans, team briefings, event schedules, operations plans, staffing and service requirements, and ICP plans aligned with ESO guidelines.

Support other aspects of event preparation as requested by the client.

DURING EVENTS:

Monitor critical risk areas via third-party event monitoring software (including, without limitation, CCTV and alarms).

Monitor Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Publicly Available Information (PAI) for any potential threats to the event.

Maintain timely and accurate global awareness of critical events that could impact the event.

Address and dispatch responses to event alarms.

Facilitate Incident Command Communications from Boulder, CO at the ICP in the event of a major incident.

Support the ICP and client’s Global Security Operations Center personnel with response and dispatch to event alarms.

Continuously monitor and manage the radio channel used by client and security officers in connection with security at the event location and other client campus sites.

If requested by the ICP or the relevant Event Security Lead, initiate and maintain contact with local authorities or emergency medical services as required in response to an emergency or breach in client's security or safety standards.

POST-EVENT REVIEW:

Within 21 days of the event, collaborate with Event Security Leads to capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future event planning standard operating procedures.

Assess the effectiveness of Event Security Operations contingency plans.

Compile relevant event-specific documentation and manage data, including security operational plans, emergency response plans, decision support matrices, incident and response logs, security staffing deployment, attendee/guest lists, and action item reports.

Conduct hotwash reviews and after-action reviews documenting lessons learned and incorporating relevant learnings into program documentation.

DELIVERABLES:OFF SEASON:

Develop comprehensive training and a minimum of two (2) tabletop exercises to stakeholders yearly.

Event security operations dashboards, templates, tools, processes, and documentation.

Metrics such as event security data trackers, communication status reports, intel collection matrix, incident logs, and situational reports.

Provide a minimum of one (1) recommendation per quarter to increase optimization, operational efficiency, or reduce costs.

PRE-EVENT PLANNING PHASE:

Exercise analysis reports, detailed work plans, team briefings, event schedules, operations plans, ICP plans, and communication protocols.

Provide a consolidated event operations plan 1 week prior to each event.

DURING EVENTS:

Event security data trackers, communication status reports, systems checks and maintenance, event dashboards, intel collection matrix, incident and emergency plan updates, incident logs/situational reports, and end-of-day/daily consolidation reports.

Provide a detailed log of all CCTV events.

POST EVENT REVIEW PHASE:

Provide hotwash reviews, after-action reviews, and incident review reports within 7 days of the event.

Lead an after-action review within 14 days of the event.

3-5 years of proven experience in event security management, training, or intelligence reporting, particularly in a corporate or tech environment managing high-impact/high-visibility events.

Strong collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines.

Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships.

Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes.

Willingness to work events in the evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Ability to deal with internal and external customers and perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely and professional manner.

Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while focused on results.

Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.

Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion. Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands, is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, talk, and hear (communicate verbally in person and via regular telephone equipment), and must be able to read computer screens, correspondence, and reports in English.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. May be required to climb stairs on an intermittent basis at client sites.

The employee may be subject to adverse conditions such as rain, cold, or heat for prolonged periods of time.
