Job Summary:The Ski Area Building Maintenance HVAC Refrigeration Technician is responsible for diagnosing refrigeration equipment malfunctions and make the needed repairs to keep the systems operating efficiently at all times.Job Specifications:

Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.62 / hour

Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

Must maintain accurate inventory records of all refrigerant gas. This includes gas purchased, how much was put in each piece of equipment, and what was recycled or reclaimed per EPA requirements.

Responsible for the start-up and shut down of all refrigerated equipment for the operating season.

Preform preventive maintenance of all systems as needed.

Supports company environmental initiatives by maintaining equipment to maximize efficiency.

Attend training and observe all applicable OSHA and other regulatory compliance programs.

Supervise, organize and plan refrigeration maintenance projects on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of refrigeration experience or equivalent (ice machines, commercial refrigeration )

Systems troubleshooting and problem solving

Must hold a valid EPA certificate and be able to order, handle, recycle and reclaim various refrigerants

NATE refrigeration certification

Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Ability to work independently

Knowledge of MicroMain maintenance program

Ability to read and comprehend schematics

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $33.62. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
