Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description Job Title: BookkeeperOverview:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

Prepare and submit invoices to clients and follow up on overdue payments.

Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Monitor and manage petty cash.

Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Professional certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) is a plus.
