- Perform field inspections of geotechnical and foundation projects;
- Responsible for engineering analysis of common geotechnical engineering problems;
- Assist in preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and other project documents;
- Accurately document and communicate with supervisor on any problems encountered on project sites; and
- Providing support through training/mentorship for other geotechnical engineers
- Preparing proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical investigations
- Interpreting and analyzing geotechnical data to establish engineering properties of materials and foundation recommendations
- Completing geotechnical engineering analyses including seepage, slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, and rotational stiffness
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
- Master's degree with Geotechnical specialty preferred;
- 5+ years of related geotechnical work experience
- CO PE license
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
