Computershare have a great opportunity to join our Global Systems Management (GSM) team in Colorado.The Global Systems Management (GSM) team is a globally distributed group of specialists who are actively working towards the global alignment of the regional Systems Management functions, processes, best practices, and people, while retaining regional capabilities & relationships. With an initial focus on the globalisation of people & regional toolsets, this also includes, but not limited to, our approach to Threat & Vulnerably, Application deployments and Monitoring capabilities.

This is a great opportunity to have global responsibilities across all our regions in the Systems Management space, to continuously deliver quality platforms and number of key services to the wider business groups, enabling automation and ease of request fulfilments when they do.

A role you will love

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver quality platforms and services to help wider audiences leverage to achieve their goals globally. This includes, but not limited to automation, application delivery, threat & vulnerability remediation, system build automation, monitoring, and project delivery.You will need to ensure you maintain a strong working relationship with various key stakeholders across Service Operations, Global Technology Services and the Global Planning and Delivery departments, fostering a win-win relationship.Some of the other key accountabilities:
  • Fulfil day to day tasks, as allocated, and provide technical guidance across the team, management, and business contacts globally
  • Technical management of Computershare Systems Management toolsets tiers (Threat & Vulnerability, monitoring, and inventory)
  • Mentoring other members of the Systems Management Team to achieve innovative, efficient, and effective delivery of Microsoft & third-party product technology services to our internal and external customers
  • Provide technical direction, Microsoft patching, policies (tooling & GPO) and vulnerability management of the global fleet
  • Work with external vendors in order to keep current with technology progress, roadmaps and overall direction of technology used

What will you bring to the role?

You will keep knowledge up to date, are a technical resource for others, follow technology practices and standards. You will also be able to follow set processes & procedures and highlight potential improvements (inc. Change Management).Technical:

  • Strong understanding of Systems Management technologies including:
    • Microsoft Patching, Software distribution, SOE build mgt., TSS and asset management (SCCM & Flexera suite)
    • Client /Server technologies with the core focus on Microsoft Windows and HP Server technologies
    • Automation of processes (e.g., Scripting (e.g., PowerShell), Morpheus)
  • Good understanding of infrastructure technologies and familiar with:
    • Cloud Mgt. Gateway, Azure, Intune, Autopilot, IIS, SQL, Active Directory and DNS
    • Service Desk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
    • Enterprise Systems Monitoring (SCOM, SolarWinds, Log Aggregation (e.g., Sumo), APM (e.g., Dynatrace))
    • Enterprise Antivirus Products. (Defender, TrendMicro, CrowdStrike)
    • VMWare ESX/vSphere and/or MS Hyper-V
    • LAN/WAN/Internet/Extranet Network technologies
Non-technical:
  • Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Perseverance to see a task through to completion
  • Able to learn new technologies and work in a technical environment
  • Flexible within a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet required deadlines

Compensation: $80-105,000
