Our national telecommunications client is seeking a Gmail Product Owner/Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.This position is 100% on-site.U.S. citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor.Start date: ASAPSeeking a mid to senior-level person who has extensive knowledge of email administration, email infrastructure, Gmail administration, etc. This is a highly visible team so needing someone who can run their own projects, talk with executives, provide one on one training and troubleshooting for end-users, and be willing to continually upgrade their knowledge and experience around email and/or cloud administration.

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Gmail Product Owner (Technical Administrator) provides support, product management, training, and technical expertise throughout the enterprise for Google Workspace, Gmail, Mimecast, Virtru, and various other cloud applications.

Primary responsibilities include:
    • Manage the vision, direction, and enterprise perception of our Google Workspace platform.
    • Learn and drive new and improved product capabilities throughout the enterprise.
    • Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to all departments throughout the enterprise on Google Workspace best practices and functionality.
    • Manage the vision for the Google Workspace platform through integrations and automation.
    • Review and monitor product quality and security and implement appropriate actions.
    • Build relationships with internal departments and external vendors to ensure effective use of the applications.
    • Define and addresses team, department, and enterprise-level issues and recommend changes to increase productivity, efficiency, and security.
    • Attend formal training and annual conferences to learn about new functionality released by Google for Workspace applications.
    • Create and present training to teams, departments, and enterprise audiences.
    • Utilize industry-standard product management processes to achieve effective results.
    • Develop reporting to manage usage and prepare recommendations to increase adoption.
    • Communicate across multiple levels to ensure understanding of product and functionality.

    Skills, Experience & Requirements
    • BS/BA Degree - or equivalent relevant experience preferred
    • 3+ years of experience as a cloud or email exchange administrator in fast-paced environments
    • Enthusiastic and dynamic presentation skills for training all levels of the enterprise
    • Expert-level knowledge of Gmail functionality and integrations

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications, or Management
    • MS/MBA Degree
    • 5+ years of experience as a Google Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Administrator
    • Certification in improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or TQM
    • Proven communication and influence skills - ability to work broadly across various groups to gain agreement on direction, mediate and integrate opinions into a cohesive strategy, and present options/recommendations.
