Role: Head of Trading OperationsUnique opportunity to join a dynamic, technology-driven investment firm that provides a challenging and collaborative work environment. Role ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Head of Trading Operations with a desire to contribute to a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial firm. This role would report to Board of Managers and is part of our Operations team.This role would be responsible for: : • Develop, manage, and continuously improve trading operations and infrastructure.• Contribute toward the successful recruiting and retention of operations talent.• Contribute to the implementation of separately managed accounts.• Ensure profitable brokers, FCM’s, trading counterparties, and custodial relationships arein place to support all direct trading and separate account activity.• Ensure that an effective and efficient trading control environment exists that complieswith all internal standards and external laws and regulations.• Contribute to the management, mitigation, and operational risk review of externalinvestment managers by participating in the operational due diligence review process.• Provide leadership to the Trading Operations team by providing innovative, reliable,and cost-effective support.What You Offer• 7-10 + years of experience developing and managing Middle Office Operations andTrading Infrastructure at a CTA, hedge fund or investment management firm.• Experience with futures and options is a plus.• Knowledge of effective and efficient processes and controls around collateralmanagement, trade life cycle, and counterparty relationships/risk.• Undergraduate Degree (Advanced Degree a plus).• Professional certifications a plus (ex. CFA).• Programming Knowledge (Python, Scripting, SQL) a plus.• Experience with external and internal relationship capability.• Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate analysis into easily digestibleinformation.• Desire to work in a challenging and collaborative setting as part of a small, close-knitteam.
