Summary:In this role, you will be a lead clinical strategic sourcing resource, dedicated to delivering best in class contracting strategies and expertise that result in supply chain cost reductions. You will accomplish this by contributing to all aspects of supply chain strategic sourcing processes including opportunity identification, strategy building, contract development, negotiations, communications, documentation, and implementation. You will develop a customer-specific contract strategy to reduce spending and craft savings solutions, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value and ultimately achieve a higher level of member satisfaction by becoming a trusted advisor. Responsibilities:o Understand core sourcing processes including market research.o Administer new and existing contracts through the complete contract life cycle.o Contract management and strong negotiation skills.o Strong contract drafting and redlining skills and ability to capture business requirements in writing.o Negotiate member specific terms and conditions while maintaining best price.o Work independently with minimum supervision and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.o Work alongside Service Line Director and business stakeholders to draft or redline language for assigned contracts.o Understand contracts, including the ability to comprehend complex contract terms and conditions and ability to draft complex contract language.o Formulate a clear vision and articulating steps to achieve the negotiation objectives for the assigned category.o Collaborate with the Service Line Director on negotiation strategy planning and assist with clarification with stakeholders to ensure requirements are defined for incorporation into the contract document.Qualifications:o Relevant degree preferred, advanced degree a plus.o 2 or more years' relevant experience working in a contracting, contract management, or supply chain-related role required.o Ability to effectively present information in a summary fashion utilizing Microsoft tools required.o Health care contracting background with experience in successful contract negotiations preferred.o Must possess strong relationship-building and strategic partnering skills.o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.o Ability to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment.o Willingness to travel.
