Summary 
The Housekeeping Supervisor maintain areas of responsibility by constant inspection, reporting and follow up in line with RLN standards.
Essential Job Functions
    Report for work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee’s handbook and further developed in the departmental rules
    Inspect every V/C room ASAP for any discrepancies, report discrepancies to the front office
    Hand out the cleaning supplies to the room attendants along with the room key
    Train housekeeping employees
    Direct and assist in assigning work to personnel
    Supervise and inspect so that Housekeepers service guest rooms consistently with-in standards and in accordance with policies and procedures
    Replace all magazines every first of the month and update the T.V.Guide. Make sure all paper signs are clean and neat
    Ensure proper use of supplies by staff to minimize costs and avoid accidents. Understand the safety aspects and be in compliance with OSHA on the cleaning chemicals mixing, and storing
    Report and follow through on all necessary repairs through use of Maintenance Requests
    Inspect every room status daily in assigned areas, spot check stay-over status rooms as permitted by guest
    Make recommendations for disciplinary action, according to procedures
    Assist in the laundry and uniform area as necessary. Approach individual training as to be prepared to act in capacity of the Laundry Supervisor
    Monitor guest requests to be performed on a timely basis
    Update rooms for the front desk at the earliest time and assign rooms on a priority basis
    Perform final inspection of all work and follow through on all projects assigned by Housekeeping Manager
