Location: Aurora, CO Description: We have a client who is in need of an Infrastructure Engineer that MUST HAVE a TS/SCI clearance.

Description:

- Infrastructure Engineer on an Infrastructure SW Team responsible for developing and ensuring that -infrastructure designs meet technical, cost and schedule requirements. It also includes hands-on implementation of the mission Infrastructure.- This role is accountable for a continuous, repeatable, secure and automated deploy, integration, and test solution utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps techniques. - They implement technologies, tools, and working methods to support development efforts such as: Pipeline tools and stages for build, integration, and deployment utilizing tools such as Git/BitBucket, Python, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher.

- The Infrastructure engineers work closely with cyber to ensure security controls are met and they also work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and implementation teams to ensure performance and deployment compliance.- This position may require some overtime to meet mission milestones as needed as well as limited CO travel as required for system support.

Responsibilities include:• Support of several complex on/off premises compute environments that form the backbone for the operational deployment.• Communicate any risks or issues involving system performance, availability, or security.• Support of software, hardware components and integration in these systems• Perform documentation updates .• Support to Architects in system or infrastructure designs as necessary.• Support and follow the program change management processes and procedures.• Developing IaC, testing, and delivering within a DevSecOps framework.Clearance requirement: US Citizen and current active TS/SCI Clearance

Specialized Skills:• Experience with VMware on-premises clouds.• Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible (preferred), SaltStack, Fabric or similar products for O/S builds.• Experience in Containerization using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher.

Required Skills:• Experience with design and test of COTS Infrastructures.• Experience with design and integration of enterprise virtualization technologies (i.e. VMWare and related toolsets).• Hands on Experience with Linux System Administration.• Working knowledge of networks and storage.• Security + or CISSP within 90 days of start.• Understanding of Change Management processes - Version Control of software and applications using tools such as Git/BitBucket.• The ability to effectively plan your own work.

Desired Skills:• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).• Experience with LDAP.• Experience with HashiCorp Consul and Vault.• Background in COTS product installation.• Experience with DevSecOps and security related implementation into designs.• Experience with Java application development, integration, and troubleshooting on a Linux system.

Although the position is Hybrid, this person will perform classified deployments that must be done onsite in Aurora or Colorado Springs, CO.

Education Requirements:Typically requires a degree and 5 years of related work experience. A Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) degree preferred.
