Job SummaryThis advanced training professional designs, develops, and modifies learning/training programs; to include instructor-led training, web-based training, and performance support for employee and/or customer training programs. This position is responsible for applying knowledge of sound adult learning principles and practices gained in obtaining a bachelor’s degree in the subject area, or by the equivalent practical experience and additional practical experience.II. Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other ancillary duties may be assigned.

Use adult learning theories and instructional design principles to lead instructional design projects from ideation to implementation.– 10% of the time.

Consult with subject matter experts, project sponsors, and clients on learning solutions and learning objectives. – 10% of the time.

Manage updates for various curricula, course materials, and assessments. – 10% of the time.

Prototype and develop human-centered learning materials using eLearning authoring tools and creating supporting materials such as job aids, facilitator guides, participant guides, PowerPoint presentations, and other training documents as needed. – 40% of the time.

Provide specialized and advanced assistance to staff in technology tools and methods, use of instructional software, and effective uses of multimedia. – 8% of the time.

Research and recommend development best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies and multimedia hardware/software to support teaching and learning. – 7% of the time.

Conduct train-the-trainer (T3) for new course materials.  Communicate regularly with internal clients to manage the rollout of training programs and gather feedback on program effectiveness.  – 5% of the time.

Conduct assessment and analysis to identify development needs and effectiveness of training. Recommends learning or performance improvement methods to address needs. – 5% of the time.

Communicate and develop working relationships with vendors. Provides input for vendor service/product negotiations. Assesses quality of delivered service/product. – 5% of the time.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

Effectively communicate with clients, subject matter experts, and team members to ensure project completion.

Provide updates on tasks, content development, and timelines on project update calls.

IV. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must live in the US.A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in Adult, Workforce, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience

Experience: Five (5) years of related experience (in addition to education requirement) OR equivalent experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The expected salary range for this position is $76,475 – 112,200.
