Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Information Technology Engineer to join our Missile Defense programs which are part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System that defends the United States homeland and its regional allies all over the world.The C2BMC National Team provides technical solutions to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Contract. C2BMC is the integrating element for the Ballistic Missile Defense System and links various sensors and weapon systems. The system provides capabilities to integrate and synchronize missile defense systems and operations, providing a layered defense against multiple ranges of threats and in all phases of flight.Position Responsibilities :

Supporting IT system requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems

Assists in routine implementation of new deployment and tech-refresh of IT systems

Assists in coding and testing applications.

Analyzes and investigates simple problems related to hardware, software or processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance pre-start and final U.S. secret clearance post start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :

Bachelor’s degree equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience within information technology.

Strong hardware or software troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

Understanding of Cyber industry or DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems.

Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls.

Knowledge of Systems Thinking, Engineering Process, and Design Concepts.
