Job Title: System Engineer - IT Infrastructure Engineer (COOLR II)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado (Schriever Space Force Base)

Status- Full-time / On-site

Salary: $47,000 - $70,000

Summary: RTL is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the Combined Orbital Operations Logistics Resiliency (COOLR) program at Schriever Space Force Base.

IT tasks include taking responsibility for the following:
  • Support the MASC-Ext team on-site at Schriever AFB.
  • This position will assist with running fiber optic cables, rack-mounting hardware, imaging MASC/MUCN workstations
  • Coordinating the delivery of parts to and from SAFB to COS
  • Assisting senior LM engineers with infrastructure support and installations, user account creations, and password unlocks.
  • Choose and verify cable pathways; assist in designing, creating, and implementing standards and specifications to ensure efficient progress of cabling projects
  • Maintain all documents related to cabling infrastructure
  • Carry out the installation of cable supports and pulling network cable pathways, including working under raised floors and confined spaces, testing, and troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active DOD SECRET clearance
  • Must Meet DOD 8570 Requirements (current Security+ CE or similar)
  • Windows background

Desired skills:
  • Bachelor's degree and 0-2+ years experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated use and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts
  • Ability to develop solutions to problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Interpersonal relationship skills are a must.

Security Clearance: This position requires a US DoD Secret security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
