- Install, maintain, integrate, troubleshoot and repair ETC system component parts to include cameras, antennas, lane controllers, cabling and other automatic vehicle identification (AVI) system elements. Complete these responsibilities using E-470's communications network and associated software applications. The E-470 communications network can be accessed from the Technician's workstation or laptop computer at work or through E-470's Virtual Private Network (VPN) remotely while on-call or off-duty, when necessary
- Coordinate with facilities personnel when required to diagnose/repair building systems failures and/or supervise specialty contractors during repair. Systems include HVAC, boiler, elevator, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, building security, septic systems, and fire alarm and sprinkler systems
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all facility security systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all Variable Message Signs (VMS)
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair surveillance cameras both internal and external to Authority facilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all wireless radios used to transmit data for VMS, surveillance cameras, and solar equipment.
- Maintain and repair additional electro-mechanical equipment on Authority property, to include generators and uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)

- Installing and managing Layer 1 & 2 switches
- Terminating Cat 5 and Cat 6 Cables
- Configuring IP Addresses on Devices
- Point to Point Network Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of high voltage electrical equipment and low voltage electronic components
- Skills to evaluate functionality and diagnose failures in a wide variety of electro/mechanical systems
- Basic MS Office skills to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic working knowledge of the Linux operating system.
