They are responsible for identifying, analyzing and monitoring issues that affect IT division strategy, plan and operating models. This role manages the analytical and research activities supporting the divisions IT strategic, short-term, and long-range goal planning function. This role oversees data collection and conducts organizational reviews to identify division IT strengths and weaknesses, and evaluates operational effectiveness. This role also designs and executes methods to track and measure organizational performance data to use for planning. The Division Strategy and Planning Program Manager is responsible for ensuring approved IT investments are aligned with the strategic direction of the division as outlined by the Division CIO. The Division Strategy and Planning Program Manager must have the ability to engage with Sr Leaders to clarify business objectives, capture and analyze requests, and assess strategic alignment and value. This position is vital to ensuring the health of approved IT investments, and aligning the “right” work to division strategies and goals.The Division Strategy and Planning Program Manager is expected to work autonomously and have minimal interaction with the Director Strategic Alignment. Through collaboration, demonstrates sound leadership while focusing on effective management of approved division IT investments and operational performance.Essential Key Job Responsibilities

Effectively manage the division IT investment strategy and planning

Engage with Division CIO to stay abreast of division priorities, strategies and goals

Engage in division committees stay abreast of investment requests and their alignment to strategy

Identify and clarify business objectives for all division IT investment requests

Ensure investments are aligned to the strategic direction of the division and national

Continuously evaluate ways to maximize the value of all division IT investments

Effectively manage business sponsor and stakeholder relationships

Play an active role in strategic long-range planning of the division, identifying interdependencies and escalating risks and issues as needed

Monitor the health of strengths and weaknesses that may impact division strategy and plan

Establish and maintain channels of communication between division, National IT and other relevant stakeholders

Demonstrate sound knowledge of strategy, planning and operational effectiveness

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years of IT experience

Experience engaging and influencing Sr leaders

Previous experience engaging in strategy, planning or organizational performance assessment preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification preferred

Previous experience in Healthcare IT

Experience in monitoring the health of division strategy and plan is preferred

Working Knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network)

Working Knowledge of EHR ecosystem, Data Integration and Cyber Risk and Compliance
