Title: IT Systems Analyst

Location: Lakewood, CO

We’re looking for an IT Systems Analyst with experience in a manufacturing environment, with implementation experience - working knowledge of M1 or Acumatica preferred. You will spend the first 90 days in-office in Lakewood/Denver for training – after training there will be a decent amount of travel.The IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with all levels of business and information technology teams to perform analysis, debugging, configuration, testing, training, documentation, implementation, and maintenance for existing and new technology solutions. As a role critical to smooth operation and safe, secure computer systems, the IT Systems Analyst will gather and analyze industry, functional and technical information to help design and support information technology solutions, as a bridge between people, processes, and technology, while also serving as the liaison between technology and the business lines regarding new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions. The Analyst will be a liaison between the system and the utilization and processes on the floor.

Your role:
  • Work cross-functionally with different internal teams identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency within organization using journey mapping and process mapping for future state Digital Service Strategy
  • Define requirements with different business units, create wireframes (as necessary) and work with tech team to execute
  • Take full ownership of all project timelines and execution
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; recommending actions
  • Report progress against deadlines as requested
  • Document journey mapping, process mapping (flows) and maintain current documentation of detailed workflow diagrams, narratives, and intersections between the various user groups.
  • Partnering with business and IT partners to drive business value and continuous improvement
  • Assess the viability of each project. Develop high level requirements and recommendations for executive approval
  • Evaluate, document and present options for satisfying all project requests
  • Gather business requirements from all business units, using clear and concise language.
  • Translate business and/or functional requirements into technical, system, and reporting requirements as needed by conducting interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation
  • Identify business trends utilizing real or representative data, compile analysis reports and deliver to the technical leadership team
  • IT System Acumen (ability to read and interpret code, table structures, technical processes within tools/code, technical standards, and guidelines, etc.)
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
  • Report on common sources of business and technical issues or questions and make recommendations for improvement. Be on the lookout for ways to improve, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer
  • Partner with other IT BSAs and Solution Architects to understand end-to-end solutions across teams or organizational boundaries are understood and aligned
  • Partner with Enterprise Business Architects to influence solution designs using existing and new technologies in alignment with enterprise architecture vision
  • Evaluate business rules and requirements, write test documents, test plans, test cases, and test reports for all phases of testing

What you’ve got:
  • Bachelor's degree in programming, computer science, or MIS.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in business systems analysis projects.
  • 2+ years' experience working in the manufacturing environment required
  • Expert in SQL, expert understanding, strong conceptual understanding of one
  • Proven ability to document highly complex processes, procedures, and/or policies
  • Deep understanding of business process and operating models as well as customer process and mission.
  • Strong ability to think critically and generate solutions
  • Experience in the following systems: Cetec, ECI-M1, QT9, and Acumatica
  • Analytical and reasoning skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Experience working in DoD manufacturing environment preferred
