Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Level IT Security Project Manager for a

contract-to-hirerole will be onsite in Englewood, CO Monday-Friday during normal business hours (there are no remote options). This role may be open to a permanent/direct hire, but for faster onboarding, the Executives prefer contract-to-hire.

This role will be an integral part of the Information Security department, reporting to the Chief of Staff, and will contribute to the overall success of key department initiatives across all of the organization and their respective departments.

This is a highly visible role within the organization that will lead to promotional opportunities. The major responsibilities include:

  • Providing information and regular support to the Chief of Staff
  • Gathering and sharing relevant documentation to the Chief of Staff and IT Security teams
  • Gathering data and compiling program status dashboards and metrics
  • Developing in-depth understanding of department key initiatives
  • Understanding formal escalation and review processes
  • Facilitating meetings and thoroughly documenting notes and next steps/actions
  • Assist with process creation and documentation to drive departmental efficiencies
  • Executive presentation development
  • Ensuring resources and equipment are always available to the security team
  • Providing support to various security business leaders as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • High energy, creative problem solver
  • Be a self-starter, ability to work independently with little direction and/or supervision
  • Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to work within deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, create plans, and provide updates on key initiatives
  • Natural organizational skills to manage complex assignments
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of our department
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to ask questions, escalate roadblocks early, and interact effectively at multiple levels in the organization
  • Ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of IT Staff located in multiple sites, including effectiveness working with global teams
  • Excellent presentation creation and proofreading skills
  • Excellent skills in using office productivity software including creating presentations, developing spreadsheet reports and dashboards
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Experience working with vendors
  • Any Security experience/certifications are a plus
  • Basic understanding of information security concepts and controls is a plus
