We are seeking a Jr. Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of the I2X/ISYS Finance & Accounting department and reporting to the Corporate Controller. Duties: Review and Post transactions Tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues Conduct account research and analysis Prepare and maintain various reports Assist in month end closing Review, adjust and post PTO Accruals Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues Process expense reports Other duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project). Government Contract Accounting experience a plus Ability to work and interface well with various organizations and personnel at all levels Detail oriented and methodical work ethics and ability to work independently Jamis or other Government accounting software experience a plus Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2+ years of accounting experience or 5 years of graduated accounting experience in a professional corporate setting Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is required.
