Key Account ExecutivePurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking a Key Account Executive for our Fed Beef Inside Sales team, located in our Greeley, CO headquarters. The ideal candidate will be career driven, team oriented, and will be willing to grow in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

Manage sales, inventories, and forward positions of assigned commodities to minimize risk and maximize profitability.

Collaborate with field sales team to develop new accounts and move accounts up the value chain.

Work with margin management to negotiate contract pricing, spot sales pricing, and maintain customer relationship through effective selling techniques.

Maintain and develop sales opportunities while adhering to credit, quality, and cash risk limits; monitor domestic and international markets as well as negotiate prices, specification, and delivery details.

Identify growth opportunities through the leverage of existing assets and the identification of new opportunities in the related target markets.

Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, third party vendors, and end users to improve and expand sales.

Provide logistical support and customer service for established customers to ensure all customer requirements are attained.

Communicate market trends and information ensuring timely and quality market information

Develop long-term strategic plans to ensure growth and profitability.

Business development – Seek out new customers and opportunities through research, data analysis, networking, and cold call practices.

Use and understand data analytics. Relay findings to customers and internal team members.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree preferred in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields

Sales experience preferred

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

Problem solving skills

Ability to work well in a fast paced and high-pressure environment

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Able to work in a corporate team office environment

Strong knowledge of agricultural supply systems, and exporting / importing / logistics for perishable commodities

Microsoft Office applications, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

Base salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 ; and

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
