We give you a world of potential We are currently searching for a permanent full-time Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) team. You can work remotely from your home office based anywhere in the US. We offer a fast paced, challenging and rewarding work environment where you can grow your skills and your career.A role you will love As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will work within an Agile environment to lead complex technology initiatives and projects. You will also lead, mentor and coach the DevOps Engineers on the team.Other Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to development teams to assist in the adoption and implementation of DevOps practices including adoption of CI/CD utilizing MS Azure Pipelines focusing on automation
- Configure and support centralized build and deployment infrastructure
- Work with development teams to configure CI/CD pipelines
- Automate the creation of environments and installation of software
- Automate manual, repetitive tasks related to software build, deployment and operations
- Develop guidelines and support documentation
- Contribute to research into existing and emerging technologies to enable DevOps
- Ensure solutions delivered are fit for purpose, meet security, risk and audit requirements, meet customer expectations and do not cause high severity outages
- Collaborate with individuals and teams to promote knowledge sharing
- Provide regular contributions to team knowledge base, product wikis and support documentation
- Maintain documentation for environment details
- Provide timely and accurate updates to stakeholders
- Implement cloud solutions and technologies
What will you bring to the role? Working within cross-functional teams, this role requires strong technical skills, curiosity, a passion for delivering quality solutions and the drive to continually improve the quality and speed with which we deliver value to the business.You'll also need: - 7+ years of programming experience in CI/CD environments including experience in configuring build and release pipelines for Java or .Net applications
- 5+ years of experience in Azure or Azure DevOps
- 3+ years hands on experience in container technologies (Docker & Kubernetes)
- Experience in private cloud deployments using Redhat Openshift
Bonus points if you have: - Developer/Architect certifications in MS Azure or other Cloud platforms
- Experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
- Knowledge or experience of Artifactory
- Experience in one or a combination of the following build type tools: Maven, Gradle or Node.js
- Experience with repository or artifact management tools such as Artifactory or Nexus
