Job Description: Define and develop end-to-end, integration, and data architectures that further and achieve the company goals of the exceptional customer, partner, and employee experiences, profitable revenue growth, and elimination/minimization of risks ensuring that digital and technology strategy and enterprise architecture are cohesive with business strategies and tactics. Quickly developing an in-depth understanding of the existing application and infrastructure portfolios, the (LEA) will take ownership of the envisioned to-be state and constantly drive progress towards the target architecture, thoughtfully co-planning and executing migration plans and strategies. Responsible for continual review of detailed designs and sufficient documentation of such designs for every application, interface, and data exchange in use at the company. Defines and documents standards for introduction and use of new technologies and solutions at the company and ensures compliance to such standards. Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of key business processes and data flows and their mapping to digital platforms and solutions. Jointly leads planning and brainstorming activities to achieve target architectures. Develops and maintains in-depth understanding of directions and roadmaps as they pertain to vendors, technologies, and digital platforms, applying them to business and technology needs at the company as appropriate. Researches, prototypes, and recommends adoption of technology products and services to support company goals and objectives. Engagement and Leadership: Build and maintain relationships with various departments across the company. Obtain regular feedback, make changes as necessary, and ensure the highest level of satisfaction amongst users and business partners. Act and be viewed as a trusted digital and technology advisor. Work with key stakeholders in the company and IT to jointly lead the definition and refinement of target and intermediate states of enterprise architecture and ensure that projects and initiatives make meaningful, measurable progress toward these states. Collaboratively lead technology selection and design efforts while also providing logical descriptions of problems and recommended solutions as well as clear direction and instructions for successful implementation. Coordinates digital architecture, strategy, and adoption of digital solutions across the company. Build and run a small, effective architecture team. Develops a thorough understanding of software development challenges and business needs, advising both development teams and user teams accordingly. Conducts due diligence to ensure that new technologies and solutions meet business, technical, and compliance requirements while satisfying enterprise standards. Technical Skills Required: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in information technology, preferably in insurance or home services industries, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture and systems strategy. Experience with all aspects of software platforms/applications and systems, end-to-end, data, and integration architectures, short-term and long-range planning, and creation and implementation of roadmaps. Hands-on experience with business-critical systems, software development and implementation, and data management using a broad range of technologies. Proven ability in working with company-wide stakeholders, building collaborative relationships with them, and conducting group discussions and brainstorming sessions. Experience in building and leading an architecture team and developing an enterprise architecture practice. Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field is required, master's preferred. Exceptional analytical, design, and modeling along with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent written and presentation skills as well as the ability to promote the best ideas for broad acceptance. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead through influence such that the architecture team's work is viewed as a crucial and highly sought-after service. Ability to map and analyze the components of a business process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Interpersonal skills including motivational, cognitive, and relational, are essential. Problem-solving and prioritization skills are required. Ability to manage cross-functional team efforts in pursuit of complex IT/digital roadmaps. Strong discipline in planning, prioritization, project and performance management.
