A national marketing analytics company, that works directly with Fortune 500 clients is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to join their team of eight. You will act as a mentor, conducting code reviews and doing 80% hands on development and 20% architecture and design. This role provides the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the teams and grow this company to the next level. You will be working with Java 13, Spring Boot, Rest API, Microservices, AWS, Lambdas, Server less Architecture, and Oracle/NoSQL. This role will be 80% new development as they recently released a new customer-facing application that upon release receives over 20k responses per day and growing. The role will be 100% remote based in Los Angeles, offering 401k matching, growth opportunities, Fridays off in the summer, and more.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of professional Java experience
- Prior Principal or Lead level experience
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Rest API with Microservices
- Database experience (Oracle or NoSQL)
- Experience with AWS or Serverless Cloud
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related degree
- Experience working on a high availability/scalable application
- 50% Hands-On Development
- 20% Architecture/Design
