Title: Lead Web Designer Location: Denver, CO Duration: Permanent / FTE - (Onsite work) Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 Visa support available via Visa transfer Our client has an immediate need for a Web Architect who will be responsible for the overall design and lifecycle/upgrade planning of a complex global web infrastructure based on business-driven projects and capacity. The primary scope of this position will be to lead the strategic planning and build activities supporting the overall web architecture and operational efficiency supporting a large portion of the applications that are run globally. - Inform management and provide recommendations for mitigation of potential bottlenecks or single points of failure within the environment that may affect system performance or availability.
- Analyze and understand the organization's environment and architecture.
- Work with infrastructure product vendors, AE infrastructure, and enterprise architects to implement web infrastructure improvements, and new products and technology.
- Implement web technologies based on integration for global standards, data classification, and data privacy according to regulatory guidelines.
- Provide suggestions and implementation approach of compliance requirements like GDPR, CCPA, cookie notification, terms and conditions, privacy policy & ADA compliance.
- Ensure web security controls meet internal and external audit and compliance requirements.
- Design website with ADA compliance for website navigation, text on images, descriptive HTML tags, UI requirements and video transcripts or closed caption.
- Perform as a technical subject matter expert in the development of highly complex, innovative, and cost-effective Integration solutions and provide technical oversight and perform code reviews for multiple development efforts
- Expected to interface with service providers to communicate new architecture standards and perform regular audits.
- Design search engine optimization (SEO) and user-friendly navigation practices.
- Design disaster recovery architecture to BIA specifications and audit DR tests performed by AE operational teams for web infrastructure.
- Develop best practice techniques for web environment, supporting an automation first mindset and mentors the team in these activities.
- Perform application assessment of new and existing applications to evaluate application dependencies (Hardware, OS, DB, Network, Storage) and correlated resources from the (Wintel, Web, VDI) teams to provide a stable, and fully manageable, virtualized architecture
- Evaluate and certifiy web technologies, while assisting in the management of vendor relationships and the definition of vendor product feature sets.
- Support service providers to troubleshoot complex web infrastructure issues within prescribed service levels.
- Responsible for designing and developing reference architecture diagrams to help standardize web infrastructure landscape.
- Environment: Works in standard office environment using general office equipment.
- Must have working knowledge of Web Services, APIs, JSON and XML technologies
- Knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient working with code versioning tools.
- 5 or more years of experience as Web Architect
- 5-10 years' experience in web development
- Experience in HTML
- Experience in Cloud Hosting, Cloud Portal, DevOps, Cloud Storage
- Experience in deploying using Web Deploy, GIT, FTP, TFS
- Experience in Authentication Technologies: LDAP, CAS
- Experience in Tag management
- Proficient working with code versioning tools.
- Experience in creating and managing databases connected to a given website.
- Experience developing across multiple browsers
- Experience in global website management is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, Graduate degree preferred
