Line cook

Sugarbeet Restaurant is hiring Line Cooks! We are seeking energetic hard working folks who are passionate about food and who are very team focused. A positive individual who is strong at multi-tasking, works with a sense of urgency, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Position available to start ASAP

Position: Line Cook

Pay: $19-$23 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 2pm-10pm

Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Prior cook experience 6 month minimum

Knowledgable about food allergens

Cooking to order

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Lifting 10-50lbs

Must be able to multi-task

Ability to work well under pressure

Work speedy and with a sense of urgency

Basic knife skills

Filling orders, restocking the line, prepping future product

Follow FIFO procedure

Reading tickets/orders

Communicate with fellow team members on ticket progress/modifications/ETA

Able to work in variable in hot and cold temperatures

Must be a team player

Practice good personal hygiene

Must have reliable transportation

Clean up at the end of shift, includes cleaning the kitchen, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, dishes etc
