Job Description:
The role involves supervising and working alongside the team to execute hands-on repairs, developing and implementing maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance.
The successful candidate will also conduct performance reviews, interviews, and oversee the hiring and firing processes within the maintenance team.
A strong familiarity with Lean practices is highly preferred.
You will supervise a maintenance team of 6 people.
This position will be 50% management and 50% hands on.
Qualifications:
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Minimum of 2 years of management experience
Electrical/mechanical maintenance experience
Ability to manage and work hands-on with the team
Work Environment:
The work schedule is from 8am to 5pm with flexibility.
No tools are required, but steel-toed shoes are a must.
The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the company's director and work closely with key family members in leadership roles.
