Maintenance Private Community

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR COMMUNITY MAINTENANCE OFFICER POSITION:

The following is a general description of the security officer duties required to be performed. This position is a full-time position scheduled to work 40 hours weekly.

General Officer Duties:

1. Conduct daily patrols of the community removing trash and looking for maintenance issues.

2. Maintain equipment in a clean and serviceable manner.

3. Maintain company vehicles.

4. Conduct landscaping operations as needed throughout the community.

5. Conduct plowing and sanding operations during inclement weather.

6. Maintain wooden structures and utility boxes in an acceptable state.

7. Assist the community volunteer group with community projects.

8. Be available to fill in as Community Security if needed.

9. Perform other tasks as assigned by the community manager.

Desired skills:

1. Be able to run small equipment, trimmers, mowers, blowers, chain saw.

2. Run skid loader, tractor, trucks, and plows.

3. Landscaping

4. General maintenance tasks, painting, small repairs

5. Vehicle maintenance, oil change, brakes, minor repairs.

The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour, with a $0.50 raise following six months of successful performance of duties. The Community Association pays 100% of the Medical/Dental/Vision benefits for the employee.

Must have valid drivers license, be able to pass a background check, as well as pass a drug screening.
