Spend your days:

  • Managing all business aspects of laboratory operations, including human resources, logistics, processes, reporting, facilities, finance, and legal
  • Budgeting and analyzing financial information and compiling reports that support business operations; filing required reports to government and regulatory agencies
  • Leading and developing human resources. Overseeing operations, maintaining policies, compliance, hiring, onboarding and accurate documentation for our insurance carrier, department of labor and other governing entities
  • Monitoring, analyzing and improving business processes and systems to ensure we are set up for rapid growth
  • Representing Summit BioLabs in regulatory audits and inquiries

Qualifications

Bring us your:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting – a CPA will catch our eye!
  • 5+ years of professional experience in accounting with human resources responsibilities in a highly regulated industry such as healthcare or biotech
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting and finance practices pertinent to bioscience research
  • Ability to develop financial models and analyze output appropriate for your audience
  • Experience preparing budgets and forecasts for a fast-growing entity
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with an innate ability to listen actively and query insightfully – we are highly regulated with lots of rules!
  • Nimble and strategic problem solver with the ability to manage competing and time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaborative leader with demonstrated talent for working cross-functionally
  • Confident, curious, and humble – you’re not above asking lot of questions regarding a complex or unfamiliar regulation
  • A passion for contributing to a biotech startup – we’re running fast and blazing a trail here!
