Fast-paced Dermatology office seeking energetic, team-oriented, Medical Assistant.Medical Assistant's duties include rooming patients, giving injections, scribe and clinically assisting provider during skin exams, surgery, non-invasive cosmetic procedures, and administrative tasks including visit notes in Electronic Medical Record software and follow-up with patients regarding test results, as well as other duties relevant to a medical office.The ideal candidate has relevant experience, is certified, and eager to learn about Dermatology!Duties: Rooming patientsAdminister IM injectionsScribe for provider during visitsSet up and assist during surgical and cosmetic proceduresSuture removalsStocking and sanitizing roomsAutoclave instrumentsCommunicate biopsy, prescription, and lab results to patientsMaintain pathology logSchedule patients for surgical proceduresAdminister Photodynamic TherapyQualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (preferred, not required)Confident with Sterile techniqueEager to learn about Dermatology in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel and WordComfort using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systemsJob Type:Full-time, Monday – Friday 7:45am – 5pmOne overnight trip per month with the provider to practice in Gunnison, CO office (expenses paid)Benefits:Paid Holidays, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance with 50% discount on products and servicesExperience:2 years of experience Medical Assisting is preferredCandidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this roleEducation:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCertifications/Licenses:Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is preferred but not required
