RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking hiring an intern currently studying chemistry, materials science, or related STEM focuses to support our Computer Hardware R&D client in Fort Collins, Colorado (CO). This position will require the MSL LCA Intern to work onsite in a laboratory environment. This is an excellent short term, project-based opportunity for students currently attending college or university, or that have entry level. This lab opportunity is supporting projects focused on our client's efforts to improve their sustainability impact. The dynamic lab environment is great someone who is naturally curious, detail oriented, and is passionate about materials science and/or chemistry.

REQUIREMENTS: Interest or passion for working in a scientific lab environment Operate scientific equipment to perform precise measurement with accuracy Assist with data collection and analysis using Microsoft Excel Ability to dissemble products to be analyzed and prepare samples of component parts Excellent written and communication skills Ability to work cross functionally on a team Present findings and results to lab staff and stakeholders

Nice to Have: Understanding of material science, material engineering, or chemistry Familiarity lab quality measurement tools Understanding/experience running Excel Macros Understanding/knowledge of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
