Remote near Denver, CO, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, New Albany, OH, Northern Virginia, Phoenix, AZTravel: Domestic travel required 20-25% - (Including Dallas, Portland, & Northern Virginia)Pay Range: $130,000-140,000 plus annual bonus (Actual pay within this range will depend on experience)We are partnered with a leading digital infrastructure organization seeking a Network Engineer to join their growing team.You will be responsible for making important decisions on design and set up of networks. This includes deciding on the physical and logical standards, the design plan & implementation in Data Centers and making sure everything is documented properly.Key Responsibilities:- Leads design, engineering, & maintenance for large data center network
- Creates secure, highly available, & scalable networks
- Works independently with the freedom to make decisions
- Assesses & recommends new technologies and standards
- Monitors & measures network performance and troubleshoots network problems
- Manages service configuration activities for strategic customers
Must Have Experience:- 5+ years of network engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or technology-related field (or 4 years of related experience)
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize workload across implementation projects
Preferred Experience:- Certification in Cisco Networking Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNE), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP), or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE)
- Experience with Juniper EX series or SRX series
- Scripting skills in Python, Perl, PHP, and/or shell
- Knowledge of ITIL Version 2 or 3 (V2/V3) Foundation
