Network Engineer (W2)

CEI’s Fortune 30 Client in Media and Telecommunications is looking for a Network Engineer to add to their team. This role will be responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure. Job at a glance:

• Long term contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement
• Starting at $45/hr W2 + optional benefits
• Hybrid position based in Centennial, CO

• Work hands-on with IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment
• Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services
• Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues
• Join and run the call bridge and act as the technical expert on it
• Coordinating all of the steps, through testing using core devices (Nokia, Juniper, Cisco) and end devices (Ciena)

• 3 - 5 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers
• Knowledge of internet working designs, their applications, routing, and Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies
• Experience with protocols, Cisco switches and routers and with firewalls such as (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.
• Certifications such as (CCNA, JNCIA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus
