Exp: 7+ Minimum 6+ years of work experience in
managing and administrating large databases.• Strong Oracle Database DBA experience on 12c /19c and newer versions.• Experience on Exadata environment will be added advantage.• Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker• Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios• Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues• Advanced Database Administration or specialized certification. AIX, scripting (ksh, perl), awk, sed, vi/emacs.• Solid knowledge of data warehouse architecture, dimension modeling, and metadata management.• Strong knowledge of ASM, RAC and basic knowledge of golden gate replication.• Basics of AIX/Linux Administration, LDAP, Shell Scripting, SQL.• Strong knowledge in database backups and recovery techniques.• Good leadership, communication, and presentation skills.Strong Experience With• Implementation and support of large Oracle environments • Enterprise Manager Grid Control • Backup and recovery concepts and RMAN • Data warehousing and OLTP environments • Oracle RAC • Performance problem identification and remediation • AIX and Linux• Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills• Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; creative thinking• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional non-business hours (evenings and weekends) flexibility and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects• Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member• Weekly database maintenance like generating stats, index reorg, space optimization• Experience in technical transitions.Must have Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Oracle Performance Tuning • Oracle GoldenGate • Oracle RAC Administration • Oracle Exadata • SQL tuning and database performance troubleshooting.
