We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Oracle E-Business DBA for a Full-Time position. Job Summary:
- The Senior Oracle E-Business DBA will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of Oracle Applications.
- Manages all assigned Oracle E-Business Suite and standalone ancillary Oracle RDBMS for operational stability and reliability. This may include troubleshooting, recovery, cloning, patching applications and database, tuning of the database, software installation and upgrades, resolving database errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization.
- Provides technical support for database related applications and systems.
- Plans, develops and implements disaster recovery plans and procedures for all assigned database resources.
- Responsible for the creation, configuration, upgrade, backup, tuning, capacity planning & administration of multiple Oracle databases.
- Responsible for providing backend support for the development, testing and acceptance environments for Oracle ERP and new projects relying on Oracle or SQL.
- Responsible for the database backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience in scripting on Linux using shell, sql.
- Experience and thorough understanding of backup, recovery and database tuning and reorg procedures for ERP and non-ERP databases.
- Manages all assigned Oracle E-Business Suite and standalone ancillary Oracle RDBMS for operational stability and reliability. This may include troubleshooting, recovery, cloning, patching applications and database, tuning of the database, software installation and upgrades, resolving database errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience
- with the ability to obtain the necessary Public Trust
- Preferred certifications: Oracle Certified DBA and Security+ certification
- Must have Oracle on-premises and Cloud EBS security, critical function and Disaster Recover (DR) maintenance and support experience.
- Experience with the following environments:
- R12 version 12.2.9
- Oracle 19c Database
- SUN server environments (Solaris 11.x) and Linux
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure migration experience
