Sierra-Cedar Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to help lead the delivery of Oracle EPM Cloud projects in our national practice. As a member of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team, you will work with the EPM Practice Lead and Project Managers to develop and deliver EPM project plans, foster strong relationships with existing clients, gather requirements and design solutions to meet clients’ needs, and provide delivery oversight to project teams. You’ll also take part in business development activities for new and prospective clients. RESPONSIBILITIES- Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels while consistently delivering high quality client services.
- Assist clients in fully integrating Oracle EPM Cloud Planning & Budgeting systems into their current planning processes and provide input on best practices.
- Accountable for project profitability, risk management and client service delivery within expected timeframes and on budget.
- Provide occasional direct EPM project management on select projects.
- Interface and influence client leadership including management of client expectations and accountability. Identify new opportunities with current clients.
- Assist with preparing responses to competitive proposal requests and preparing statements of work, payment schedules and associated documents.
- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
- Plan for and lead EPM project requirements gathering and design phase.
- Review and edit functional and technical project deliverables.
- Review and critique task estimates and technical solutions.
- Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering planning solutions.
- Play an active role in mentoring consultants on the team and within the organization.
- A minimum of five years budgeting and forecasting project experience with a strong focus on Oracle Hyperion Planning or Oracle EPM Cloud Planning and Budgeting (PBCS/EPBCS) implementations.
- At least one full lifecycle Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle EPM Cloud Planning and Budgeting (PBCS/EPBCS) project as a Solution Architect.
- Working knowledge of a component of the modern Oracle EPM solutions landscape (e.g., Oracle Consolidations (FCCS/HFM), Oracle Planning (Hyperion Planning / PBCS / EPBCS).
- Implementation experience in the Public Sector or Higher Education is a plus.
- Proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills - actively participate in brainstorming, identifying core issues and effectively finding and using data to manage complex analysis.
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills with c-level client staff, technical staff, and application users.
- Proven business knowledge as well as Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Cloud Service Budgeting (PBCS/ePBCS) application specific functional knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent required.
