Description Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal Robert Half has partnered with a well-established law firm in Boulder on the search for a 5+ years’ Civil Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their team on a direct-hire basis. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Handle file organization and maintenance
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents - briefs, petitions, pleadings, motions, and depositions.
Assist attorneys in the preparation for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with the preparation of witness examinations, preparing trial notebooks, and ensuring that all necessary documents are copied and in appropriate order.
Conduct research to support legal proceedings using various tools and software.
Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders.
Conduct initial client intake and fact-gathering
Record and store client information, ensuring client confidentiality.
Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues and partners.
File various legal documents with courts and maintain case calendar.
