Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist our Pediatric Dentist in creating an engaging and welcoming environment for children. Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the needs of the dentist and the patient.

Teach children about the importance of oral hygiene in a fun and interactive way.

Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the dental team. Encourage camaraderie, team building, and a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

Maintain a well-organized and stocked operatory, ensuring supplies are readily available for dental procedures. Streamline workflows to optimize productivity.

be able to obtain and record a patients medical and dental history accurately via dental computer software to ensure the best possible care.Capture high-quality digital dental radiographs for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Master the art of sterilization, ensuring all instruments and equipment are meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and prepared for use, maintaining the highest level of infection control.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of Registered Dental Assistant Program(Preferred but not required)

X-Ray Certification (Preferred but not required)

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification).

Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant

Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization techniques (preferred but not required)

Familiarity with dental software and digital imaging systems (preferred but not required.)

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with children and their parents or guardians.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe dental environment.
