Summary 
This position helps with station assignments, maintains place, and prepares hot and cold foods for the restaurant according to Chef’s specifications.  Essential Job FunctionsSet up station and mise-en place to Chefs specificationsCook food to orderPrepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. May be involved in sauteing, grilling, and roasting stationsHelp organize kitchen items including, dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies, and food deliveriesSet up, work, and breakdown station Maintain station cleanliness throughout shift and help washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trashSubmit production needs for the following day by shift endOther duties as assigned
