Pricing Business Analyst

PRICING BUSINESS ANALYSTWe are looking for a Pricing Business Analyst for JBS Pork Department that reports onsite to the Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado.The Consumer Value Added (CVA) Pricing & Business Analyst will be located at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. Travel will be limited with an occasional visit to one of our Fresh Pork, Beef, or Retail Ready plants to interact with cost accountants, production or material managers, or other key team members as needed. Overall responsibilities include collaborating with multiple teams, gathering, maintaining, developing, and implementing business, pricing, cost and supply chain models, routines, and reports for assigned CVA Brands.Specific Responsibilities:New Business:

Works with multiple teams to help complete cost cards and derive pro-forma P&Ls for new products and business, analyzing fresh meat primal/sub-primal markets (using historical and forward looking forecasts), and gathering operating and other assumptions (throughput, headcount/labor costs, overheads, yields, material costs, customer specific costs, etc).

Existing Business:

Updates pricing for CVA’s existing business weekly & monthly based guidance from BU.

Identifies low margin SKUs and product segments thru for margin improvement.

Works to improve processes to help with accuracy and standardization of pricing.

Aligns monthly budget with BU and Accounting, helping resolve irregularities.

Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze product mix for opportunities to improve both operations and margin.

Analyze plant operations and costs to find cost reduction or pricing opportunities.

Conduct ad hoc analysis to help support the business in both sales and operations.

Develop and maintain reports, information databases, and daily Fresh Pork market pricing position to help support decision makers in the business.

Develop dashboards and visualization tools using Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects, and Visual Basic/Microsoft Excel

Understand and manage P&L drivers and publish CVA P&L on a monthly and quarterly basis across multiple proteins and business units

Trouble Shooting & Miscellaneous:

Help resolve pricing, trade, or margin inaccuracies.

Support CVA as needed to achieve annual KPIs.

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Strong analytical and problem solving skills; accuracy and attention to details.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Qlik Sense preferred.

Experience managing and analyzing data.

Requires excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external customers.

Researcher mindset.

Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience.

Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Understanding of Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.

4 years of experience in the protein industry preferred.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Base salary range of $58,000-$80,000; and

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
