Job Duties and Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will include:- Designing, developing and executing functional applications and features for SlingTV's back-end DVR.
- Building automated unit & integration tests for your code & truly owning your work product.
- Designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Managing and optimizing message queue communication between various components.
- Designing & enhancing postgres schema, optimizing SQL queries, and architecting code to enhance performance for large-scale load.
- MS in Computer Science or closely-related field and 3 years of professional experience OR a BS in the same fields plus 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
- 3 years of experience usinga mix of C, Python, Django, Celery, Golang, RabbitMQ, RESTful framework, relational databases, SQL, Nginx, Salt, UNIX and Jenkins.
- Required location in Denver, CO or American Fork, UT
