Job Duties and Responsibilities:

High-level job responsibilities:
  • As the principal engineer for the user management and product catalog application, you will be responsible for the mobility and cloud solutions that our customers and retailers use to transact with Our client.

Day-to-day job responsibilities:
  • Fully responsible for building and delivering world-class product catalog solutions via Hansen's Sigma Product Catalog using cloud-native backend technologies
  • Architect serverless cloud-native backend application in AWS using API Gateway, Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB, KMS, Secrets manager, Glue, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, CloudFront, CloudWatch, WAF, Cognito, ACM, VPC, IAM roles-policies-permissions, Athena, SQS, SNS, EC2, Step functions, ElastiCache, Trusted Advisor, SES, Well-Architected tool, CloudTrail, IoT Core, etc
  • Partner and collaborate with other solution architects and development teams in creating frameworks, orchestration, and patterns to help the organization's speed of delivery while improving operational efficiencies
  • Evaluating and recommending architectural changes to the Client Software architecture team
  • Architecting CI/CD pipelines that can be adopted for serverless cloud deployments
  • Provide thought leadership using business communications, active collaboration, and leading cross-functional groups to deliver mobile-first cloud-native mobility applications
  • Manage Vendor Relationships and resources to build and maintain platforms
  • Manage tight deadlines on complex deliverables to meet business needs
  • Escalate issues appropriately with clear and concise root cause analysis and remediation recommendations
  • Present project timelines, objectives, and progress to executive management

Skills and Qualifications:

Specific qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline preferred
  • 12+ years of progressively related experience
  • Experience in managing complex system requirements
  • Experience with both Apple and Android app store process
  • Experience with web technologies
  • Experience with customer experience/journey design
  • Experience in product design

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience with microservices architectures
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms/products like Azure, Apigee, Adobe cloud, Ping Identity, Okta, etc
