Description We are in search of a Procurement Specialist to join our team in the government sector, located in Brighton, Colorado. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage various aspects of procurement processes including vendor management, contract compliance, and document control, among others.Responsibilities: Oversee buying processes and handle purchase orders and agreements. Utilize CRM and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems to manage customer relationships and enterprise resources. Manage contract compliance, pricing, renewals, and terms. Maintain vendor contacts, ensure their compliance, and manage vendor relationships. Review documents and control their distribution across the organization. Handle cash applications and manage government grants. Use Microsoft Excel to manage budgets and perform other relevant tasks. Prepare and review proposals and RFP documents. Manage billing systems and process invoices. Oversee contract compliance and terms. Requirements Must have at least 3 years of experience in a procurement role within the government sector. Proficient in CRM, with a focus on enhancing customer service experiences. Demonstrated expertise in budget and buying processes. Familiarity with invoice handling and document control. Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and SmartBidNet software is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with billing systems, purchase orders, and purchase agreements. Knowledge of government grants and cash applications is preferred. Ability to review documents for compliance with contract terms and pricing. Experience with contract renewals and vendor management is essential. Must be able to handle vendor contacts and ensure vendor compliance. Experience in creating and reviewing proposals, specifically RFPs. Familiarity with RFP documents is a plus. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
