- Coordinate the work efforts of other Project Managers
- Provide high level status reporting and future direction of projects & functions to Directors, VPs and C-level executives
- Work with Business stakeholders to define and document business needs and strategies
- Ensure the suite of tools provides current and future functionality to achieve the Client business needs and growth
- Assist with resource decisions in the PM area
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects; present and negotiate with customer, senior management, RM, dev. teams, TQA/UAT
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables ; define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans working with various teams; assemble and coordinate project staff; manage project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines and necessary weekly/daily or ad hoc meetings; track project deliverables using appropriate tools; provide direction and support to project team; Quality Assurance and UAT
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders; present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs; project evaluations and assessment of results throughout and post project deployment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management and/or a minimum of 6 years of Project Management experience or direct work experience in technical software project management capacity
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with IT management, software development and test teams, and infrastructure teams
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management; knowledge of technical software project management techniques and tools
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Thorough knowledge of software development phases and processes, including a working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
