Role: Program ManagerLocation: Denver, COType: Direct HireSalary: $145,000-$175,000/annually No C2C or 3rd partiesProgram Manager Summary/ObjectiveThe Program Manager position is responsible for the program and project managementfunction within the group. This is a hands-on role where you will drive multiple simultaneousprojects through the development lifecycle from concept to delivery. The Program Manager position works with leadership and other internal and externalstakeholders to plan and execute new programs, processes and projects. Works with allfunctional groups to ensure all program tasks have been identified and are on schedule. Abalance of business acumen and technical background are required to be successful in this role. QUALIFICATIONS: An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:Expert knowledge of project management and product development processes. Solid knowledge of software development practices, using Agile / Scrum principlesExperience working in the electronics industry, working around PCBA creation, FW and SWdevelopment, and mechanical design Solid knowledge of software development methodologies including familiarity with source control(Git, SVN), issue tracking (Jira), collaboration Possess strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs. Facilitate theremoval of obstacles and escalate risks. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form on a one-to-one or group basis. Ability tocommunicate aspects of the project and filter messaging based on the target audience Ability to exhibit initiative to quickly learn and retain various cross discipline information within arelatively short time period. Skill in the use of computer and software such as Agile Project Management (Shortcut),Smartsheets, Word, Excel, MS Office Acceptable training and experience:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (technical preferred).
- 8+ years of expert experience in leading programs.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA is desirable.
- PMP certified a plus.
- Proven track record demonstrating exceptional organizational skills managing multiple teams and ability to juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Develop relationships and interaction with vendors.
- Ongoing pursuit of job knowledge based educational activities is highly encouraged.
