The Program Manager position is part of the project management office (PMO) responsible for the program and project management function within the group. This is a hands-on role where you will drive multiple simultaneous projects through the development lifecycle from concept to delivery.The Program Manager position works with leadership and other internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute new programs, processes and projects. Works with all functional groups to ensure all program tasks have been identified and are on schedule. A balance of business acumen and technical background are required to be successful in this role. Projects include electro-mechanical motor components and electronic assemblies with embedded firmware, software, and mobile app development of IoT-connected products.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.)
- Drive multiple simultaneous project teams within the group. Perform program analysis, manage risk, identify and influence necessary course corrections, and communicate program status and activities across multiple levels of management. Responsibilities also include maintaining project dashboards, agendas and action item tracking.
- Proactively identifies program risks and mitigations and is competent at risk-based decision making. Will be accountable for the successful execution of programs for the global Work will be initiated at the direction of the leadership.
- Engage with the various constituents within the organization to establish priorities, deliverable timelines and establish scope and responsibilities. This will include senior leadership, product management, enterprise PMO, operations, IT, and fabrication, among others. Act as the voice of these groups within the NPI process.
- Liaison with global stakeholders, aligning on corporate reporting, best practices and launch process. Ensure that the requirements and outcomes from the group mesh into the larger organizations launch plans.
- Coordinate the work of project managers / functional leaders assigned to This will include product management, engineering, test, materials, quality and compliance.
- Responsible for establishing consistent project management methodology and tools within the group.
- Continuously assess and improve the NPI processes. Participate in establishing and alignment to a multi-year development roadmap.
- Must be able to work in ambiguity with available information to make decisions to balance scope, schedule and resources and risk. Must not be afraid to ask tough questions or to deliver difficult and timely information.

- Substantial knowledge of project management and product development processes
- Solid knowledge of software development practices, using Agile / Scrum principles
- Experience working in the electronics industry, working around PCBA creation, FW and SW development, and mechanical design
- Solid knowledge of software development methodologies including familiarity with source control (Git, SVN), issue tracking (Jira), collaboration
- Possess strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to communicate aspects of the project and filter messaging based on the target audience
- Ability to exhibit initiative to quickly learn and retain various cross-discipline information
- Skill in the use of computer and software such as Agile Project Management (Shortcut), Smartsheets, Word, Excel, MS Office
- Acceptable training and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (technical preferred)
- 8+ years of expert experience in leading programs. Advanced degree such as an MBA is desirable. PMP certification is a plus. Proven track record demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
